Dr. Sheila Shilati has been in the field of addiction recovery for more than 17 years. She has served as an international ambassador and participant on two separate medical and relief expeditions in the Middle East and Africa, working directly with victims of natural disasters and HIV/AIDS. She has lectured at several universities and colleges, including California State University Northridge, Pepperdine University, California Lutheran University, and Oxnard College.
Dr. Shilati has been an expert consultant in media and presentation; topics ranging from Brainspotting, Professional Athletes in Treatment, Multi-Disciplinary Approaches, Teenage Suicide, Improving Dual-Diagnosis Treatment, Family Process and Addiction. Dr. Shilati has been serving as Chief Operating Officer at Seasons Recovery Centers for nine years, providing leadership and oversight to this dynamic and influential residential treatment program. She is known for her commitment to ethics and maintaining the highest standards of organizational care.
Dr. Shilati received her BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2001, and her Doctorate degree from the Phillips Graduate Institute in 2009.
